In May 2015 there was a relaunch at Radio Neckarburg and a few months later it was renamed “das neue radio neckarburg”. Schlager, country, folk and instrumental music were removed from the program and the music format changed to Oldie-Based-AC, a sub-format of Adult Contemporary. The transmitter also received a completely new on-air design. This relaunch, which had been announced for some time, was originally scheduled to take place in 2016. The broadcaster subsequently gave the claim “We love the hits” and now plays the most popular pop and rock songs from the 1960s to the present day.
