Since 1993, the Journalism Academy has been operating in the Staromiejskie Youth Culture Center in Krakow, which brings together young people from high schools and students. During the classes at the Journalism Academy, young people learn the theory of journalism and the journalist’s workshop, as well as learn radio and television editing. The greatest advantage of the Academy is that it allows you to verify the acquired knowledge in practice thanks to cooperation with local media. Youth from the SCKM Academy of Journalism has received numerous awards for radio programs, radio and TV reports and the magazine “Nietakt”.
