The Radio Enlace Communication Workshop Cultural Association was formally born on March 7, 1989, promoted by the then existing Hortaleza Youth Collective Platform. The objective of the platform was to coordinate the activities carried out by the youth of the district, so the idea of launching their own means of communication was immediately proposed. Initially, the magazine “Enlace” was produced, which appeared monthly for a year. During this period, the possibility of exchanging the magazine for a radio matured. It was the key moment, a few months later the Radio Enlace Communication Workshop Association was legalized.
